My customers wanted a bookcase with a hidden TV. They wanted part of the bookcase to fold out, to reveal the TV. The trickiest part was a locking mechanism for these foldout bookcases. I had the owner find a book with a story about a bookcase with a hidden door. I turned that book into a release for the lock, so if someone recognized it they would know how to open them.
The lighted panels are windows that were already in the wall.
